I'm on the Escape in March & looking at a 1 pm flight from FLL... do you think this is a fairly safe bet ? I'm in the Haven & will take my own luggage off seeing as last year I had another passenger take my luggage by mistake & that caused a delay.

You'll make it. Our last flight from Fll was 11:30am. We did self walk off and made it to the airport with plenty of time to spare. Over the years we taken many early flights before 11:30am and never had a problem.

We did self debarkation and got to FLL at 9:15 in Oct.

As a rule of thumb, when I was an agent, I never booked a flight before 1pm. I think you will be ok, but when i was booking for others, I did not want to be responsible for them missing their flight.
