Recommendations for snorkeling with teens ?

Arriving on the Caribbean Princess Dec. 22nd and looking for reasonably-priced suggestions to keep the teenagers happy (aged 16 and 13). We'd like to snorkel a bit and also have some time to wander around the town. Do you have any suggestions regarding companies to use for a basic snorkel tour and/or a fun boat ride? Thanks!!!

Skip the tours and taxi (about $10) to the Money Bar - great snorkeling from the shore, good facilities, rental gear and guides if needed, plus good service, food, drinks, etc.

 

After a few hours there grab a taxi to downtown for shopping, dinner, drinks, etc.

"The Catamaran Sail, Snorkel, and Beach Party" is a good one to consider. :)

Buccanos has GREAT snorkeling right off the shore. Also offers tasty food and a lovely sand beach to relax on. I highly recommend going there. There were a lot of taxi drivers waiting at the Cozumel port that worked for this place and offered a ride. Only about 15 minutes from port.
