Condition of Nordam

We have not cruised with HAL for over ten years. Been a Celebrity cruiser. What is the overall condition of Nordam? If you book a Neptune suite are any of the for charge resturants included? How would you compare HAL TO CELEBRITY?

Have not cruised with HAL for a while. What is the overall condition of NORDAM? For any that have cruised on both, how would you compare HAL TO celebrity? We are considering an SB neptune suite, any to avoid? What is the one thing that keeps you coming back to HAL? THANKS FOR THE INFO!!

The only part of your questions that I can answer is that no specialty restaurants are included with the Neptune suites ... except you can eat breakfast in the Pinnacle Grill, with the same menu as the MDR.

 

Since the ship had a dry-dock just 8 months ago, I would be surprised to hear that it's not in very good to excellent condition.

NODM is doing fine! She was in dry-dock in Freeport in APR of this year

Hopefully they replaced those sofa/sleepers in the cabins. They looked disgusting back on Nov 2015 cruise. We had 3 veranda cabins and every one of them had dirty, stained sofas.

She was in great shape when we were on her in the fall of 2014.

Hopefully they brought back the sneeze guard as it was gone when we were on her. Thus no toaster and very little pastries in the Neptune Lounge.

We sailed on Noordam, 14 days end of October, early November this year.

From what we observed, the ship was in good condition.

 

Yes there was a sneeze guard on the food counter in the Neptune Lounge.

We enjoyed breakfast in the Pinnacle Grill each morning.
