Oslo Question

We are booked on a Fram sailing in August '16. Our flight from JFK arrives in Oslo midday and our onward charter to Longyearbyen departs at 10:40 that evening. Hurtigruten told us that there were no organized tours. We've visited Oslo several times but never with suitcases in tow. Is there storage at the airport? What transportation is available from the airport into town. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks

There is luggage storage at Oslo airport:

To go between airport and city center, there is either the Express train (http://www.flytoget.no/flytoget_eng/) or the local train (https://www.nsb.no/en/frontpage). The first one runs more often and is a little faster, but the second one is cheaper and with the same ticket you can then use other city transports (bus, metro, tram) for a while (2 hours, I think).
