BA - angled bal or mini suite

I have an angled balcony booked on the BA, I can upgrade to a GTY Mini suite at no extra cost. Is it worth it to lose the extra space of the angled balcony?

What would you do?

Our first time on Breakaway, I had an angled balcony on deck 10. Loved it.

My sister and her family upgraded to mini suites on deck 13. Only difference was a bigger bathroom with double sinks. Nice for them. They loved it.

Me, I spent more time on my bigger balcony.

Other than the bathroom (and balconies) our staterooms were the same!

 

Went with an angled balcony on deck 8 last month and loved it !!

 

Either way, have a great cruise!

I was just in angled balcony 14842 on BA it's a great balcony. Go on YouTube and search Breakaway Balcony 14842 I posted a video of the balcony yesterday

I think we'll stick with the angled balcony.

I won't give up the bigger bal if the room is the same size.

My DH spends a lot of time on the balcony and it is a 14 day cruise.

I gave up an angeled balcony and took a chosen mini suite on the 1/3/16 cruise. I thought the bigger shower would be nice. I hope I don't regret it. If I could be sure that there would be a lounger on the balcony I would have kept it. I believe the cabin interior is the same size as the balcony.

I think it may be slightly bigger. We did a cabin crawl and I remember noticing the the bedside table was bigger. There's one that's tiny in the balcony cabin. It wouldn't be enough to make it feel bigger though.

I'd keep the angled balcony personally. We have one on deck 8 in February and other than a full on suite, you'll have to pry that room from my dead hands!

We've had both the angled balcony and the mini suite and given the choice, we would choose the mini suite with the bigger bathroom and shower. The shower also has jets which are really nice. The angled balcony was nice but there's less privacy when standing at the rail.

Well it's all out the window now! Tonight we got an upsell offer for a Haven Spa Suite and we took it. Same bathroom as the mini suite, I think, but it also has the jacuzzi in the room and access to the spa which we were purchasing passes for. And of course access to the Haven. I'm excited! Although I think that the angled balcony would have still been bigger! [emoji3]
