Grand Turk Cabanas Question

Guess I should start out by saying we are still 323 days out and I am currently checking daily for them to be released. Does anyone who was booked out pretty far in advance have any idea of when they might release them for booking? As well as, which cabana number would be best for us to try and get if we can once there? Thank you for any help & Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays to all.

We've had a cabana each time we've visited GT (6 or 7x). We've always been able to get them at least 6 months out. I've yet to be there when they've sold out. It'll depend if there is another ship in port with you regarding which you'll be able to choose. If there are two ships they will usually assign half to Carnival and half to HAL (for example). In honesty I can't think of why any one would be better than the other unless you want to be closer to the restrooms or closer to flowrider/beach. Other than that they are identical and no real advantage to having one over the other.

We also have booked the cabana's each time we have been to Grand Turk (and it has been a lot). The only recommendation I have is that someone in our group gets up early so we have first pick of a Cabana and we usually try for number 2 and 3, close to bathrooms but not on top of them, closest to pool entrance from the side and have direct site of the pool bar and where the DJ sets up. We grab a couple of lounge chairs and place on the front porch. We love the Cabana's because a great place to eat or take a nap in air-conditioning and they will give you a key so that you can lock your items in them while shopping. And best of all your server (whether you use the call button in the Cabana) or in the pool will keep up with you and make sure your taken care of.

Awesome thank you. I know I'll be the one in the group to get out and up and get the cabana as soon as we can get off board. I'm just excited lol

We cruise the end of March 2016 and booked ours online in August. I see that they are sold-out for our sailing as of now. Will be our first time to GT and thought a Cabana would be the best way to go. Did the same for HMC too!

We got a cabana once on Gt. We also thought it was a huge waste of money. We put a few incidentals in the cabana and got in the pool. We ordered a drink thru the waiter service (it took forever) and got back in the pool. It all sounded like a great idea at the time but not worth it to us. Theres no restroom in it so we still had to go to the public restrooms. The only thing it seemed good for was to leave the camera in while we were in the water.

Just my opinion.

The reason for us to get one is because several people who are going in my group will be tired of the sun, but want to get off the boat and enjoy time spent with one another. Then they wont have to worry about being out in the sun all day with out shade or air. I know they aren't for everyone but I know we will benefit from them.

I don't think it's mentioned on this thread, where are these cabanas and how much are they?Yes, I know Grand Turk, but what property?

They area located at Margaretville. If you do a quick search on google search-cabanas at grand turks they have some images. I would post link but not really supposed too.
