cruiseelady Posted December 28, 2015 #2 Share Posted December 28, 2015 Has anyone gone solo on MSC? How was it? I actually asked that same question a few months ago, at that time I was considering. Here is a link to it and replies I got. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2238896&highlight=msc
Thoie Posted January 1, 2016 #3 Share Posted January 1, 2016 I have on the Poesia and loved it. Was worried by bad reviews in advance, but came to the conclusion that the bad reviews mainly centred around service. As a European line, the service to me was pretty standard "good" European service. Americans didn't seem to like it because no one was approaching you regularly offering things. I find the American service style intrusive, so I was happy.
Dancer Bob Posted January 1, 2016 #4 Share Posted January 1, 2016 I agree completely with Thoie. Also, there may not be many English-speaking solos.
Rnmozack Posted January 1, 2016 Author #5 Share Posted January 1, 2016 Thanks! I never thought of not many English speaking solos. I'll still probably give it a try!
CruiseScrooge Posted January 1, 2016 #6 Share Posted January 1, 2016 i did a b2b solo out of miami. they have a single/solo meetup the 2nd night or so and a few people showed. of course out of miami most of the passengers were americans but we did have quite a few germans because they offered free airfare and kids go free to them. Cruisercl Posted January 15, 2016 #7 Share Posted January 15, 2016 Hello fellow solo cruisers, I am looking at MSC for a Baltics cruise in Spring 2017; the other lines I have looked at are very expensive. Has anyone done a Baltics cruise solo on MSC? Any feedback is appreciated! :) Happy and safe cruising all!!!!

maureencruiser Posted January 24, 2016 #9 Share Posted January 24, 2016 I've done MSC Divina solo twice and going again in May. I need to keep prices low, so, they are perfect for me. :)
