Sea sick meds

Ginger capsules and candied ginger (penzeys has the tastiest).. they have helped me a lot and I shared with my SIL on a recent cruise and relieved her as well. I take the capsules in the morning and bring a small amount of the candy with me to chew if things seem a bit queasy. I also suffer from post cruise movement sensation.. which for me can last for a 6 weeks or more.

I do take Bonine.

Some take Dramamine. Similar Product.

Others take ginger tablets.

There is the patch that requires a prescription from your physician.

When it comes to Bonine I am not sure how many you take. We take one other than two over a 24 hour period.

Not similar at all. Completely different meds, and different mechanisms.

I've used the patch many times with no adverse effects, not even dry mouth.

Cutting any medication patch in half is not a good idea. There is no guarantee that the medication is evenly spread across the patch so there is no way to tell what dose the person is actually getting.
