Breakaway TVs

BA's inside/oceanview, and, (basic) balcony staterooms all used the "Sole" brand HDTV with standard HDMI input, component & composite (YGB) inputs are firmware locked. It's as easy (or, difficult) to disconnect the HDMI connection, and, connect your camcorder's HDMI cable to get it to work - I hooked up my travel Sony Viao notebook PC with HDMI, and did playback.

You will need at least a 6' HDMI cable (a 10' one is better) and possible 110 volts outlet power tap if you plan to have other gadgets hooked up.

See post #12 of our detailed BA info-review (from March 2015) of the setup. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2189381&highlight=breakaway+march+2015

Extra bonus tip - bring a small LED flashlight to help you see the connector better as the space behind the wall-mounted HDTV is a little bit tight but fine even for my big hand/fingers. Enjoy !
