When is the seafood buffet on the Gem?

Anyone know which night the seafood buffet is on the 10 day Gem sailing?

Seafood buffet on 12/23/2015 sailing was Christmas Eve, or first Thursday of the 10 day sailing.

Is it always on the first Thursday for every cruise or is each cruise different?

Do they announce it or do you have to ask?

We've sailed on NCL five times, including twice on the Gem, and don't recall a seafood buffet. What have we been missing? :)

Seafood thing in buffet was introduced when the lobster went away from MDRs.

The seafood buffet was on day 2 of the 10 day sailing. It was really good!

On the current Gem sailing it was also on day 2 and it looked great !!!

 

Day 3 special night was "Mediterranean night" at the buffet.

 

 

Next week is my turn !!!!

What kind of seafood is on the buffet? That is exciting!

Some pasta with some very hidden lobster pieces (supposedly) and some shrimp on skewers. That's all I recall.

This week the buffet consisted of sushi, mussels, a mountain of shrimps ( not the kind you have to peel and devein...no no no... the peeled, devein on ice and ready to eat kind !!! ), grilled shrimps on skewers and pasta. ( didn't see lobster on the pic I saw ) and maybe other things that I didn't see.

Keep in mind that the Menues can always change

I would wait until you get on board and find out

for sure when they are having it, as far as I know

no crab at least not when we were on in May
