Moscow excursion?

Recommended Posts

Going to the Baltics June 2016. Heard there was a Moscow overnight excursion available through RCL, but it isn't listed as an excursion on their website. Is it not available anymore? Thanks for any information you can provide.

I can't answer your question, but curious if you have been to Russia previously? If so, then the trip to Moscow would be great. I did a Princess Baltic cruise in 2004 and there isn't any way I would have traded my time in St Pete for the trip to Moscow regardless of how much I would like to go there,(which I would!). There is so much to see in St Pete in 2 days - I can't imagine giving any of that up for the trip to Moscow. Besides, unless they use another airline, you couldn't pay me to take an Aeroflot flight.

The RCI Moscow trip is listed at

BUT I'm with mek, while Moscow is interesting (yes, I've been there, and it can't be done in a day trip) St. Petersburg is outstanding. Enjoy St. Petersburg and save some money at the same time.

PS Internal Russian flights are MUCH worse than international flights on Russian airlines. Think about that for minute - if you are not scared you should be:eek:
