One quick question. My DH has just recently started using a CPAP machine. I know to carry it on, don't check it. But since bottled water can no longer be carried on....he has to use distilled water, can we carry water to use in his CPAP? UNOPENED of course. Thanks in advance.

I have a CPAP and just use the tap water on the shop, since it is filter and has no minerals in it with no troubles over the past 10 cruises. You can also get a gallon of water for about $3. You might check with special needs department at Carnival.

TY, I'll call carnival tomorrow. He only uses about a 32 oz bottle a week but it's only 79 cents to carry on. Thanks again!!! 14 days and counting!!

FWIW, I don't think that it's worth the $2.21 to carry around a gallon of water while waiting for my room to be ready. Just call when you get on board and they will deliver it to your room for $3.

Also, be sure to pack an extension cord :)

You can carry distilled unopened water with your cpap machine onboard. BUT at $3 for a gallon why?

From Carnival website:

Distilled Water

Guests may bring on board distilled water for use with a CPAP machine or nursery water for families with babies and packed in carry-on luggage.Distilled water may also be purchased onboard at $3.00 USD per gallon by contacting Room Service. The CPAP machine must be packed in carry-on luggage.
