Booking Excursions

We had to cancel St Petersburg excursions last year as we had stinking colds. We had over USD800 returned to our OBC; I had great trouble getting it back on the boat. Normally they will return any excess OBC to you at your home address as a cheque; they do NOT return to your credit card.

Remember you have to give 48 hours notice to cancel a Shorex.

As Mike says, it is credited to your shipboard account.

Think of it as refundable OBC or cash. If you don't spend in on the ship and your account has a debit balance (they owe you money) at the end of the trip they send you a check.

Some Shorex are cancelled by the ship for whatever reason (whether, availability) right up until a moment before the Ex is scheduled. These cancellations are 100% refunded and are handled in the same manner as above.
