Booking either a B1 or B2, GTY or choose?

You didn't state which ships. Some of the R ships have pulled down beds, from the ceilings, so to accommodate more than 2 people. I believe some may have pull out sofa beds, while others don't. If you don't need the extra bed space, you don't pay extra for it, in either situation. I believe that is what the stars denote.

My recommendation is to always pick the suite you think you would like. I know some prefer to hope for an free upgrade via a Guarantee. Each to his own.

It should tell you on the deck plan what the symbols represent

if you hover your mouse over the cabin with the symbol it will tell you what the special feature is

I am one that likes to pick my cabin so I know where I am sleeping ;)

YMMV

We will be n the Regatta. I think you are right, it's the couch makes a third bed, unfortunately the legend jus shows special feature. We may play the GTY roulette game, not certain yet. Thanks all.

Yes it is a triple with a sofa bed

on the website deck plans

If you put your mouse over the cabin it will show in the description on the right side

Got it, Thank you.

Waiting to get quotes tomorrow, decide to choose or not and a booking I will go.

Thank you.

Usually there is no financial incentive to book a guarantee on Oceania like there is on other lines.

Sometimes it's all that's offered when sales are strong on a sailing.
