Going on RC Jewel in April to Bahamas. Looking at excursions such as blue dolphin swim. Is it better to book direct or do you have to go through RC? Price diff of 300. Thanks 1st cruise

I prefer not booking via RCCL. You will save money.

That's a great ship for a first cruise and a 4 day one. I would book the excursion direct.

We do not book any excursions thru the ship.

My only worry is that there may be an issue of transportation from boat to ferry. I know if you book through RCCL the excursions get off first

Just keep in mind that for Blue Lagoon you need to catch their ferry if going on your own (and get yourself to the ferry spot). If you take Royal's excursion, then they have their own ferry , which I understand is close to the port.
