best nights to book shows

Do you prefer to book the large shows on port nights or at sea nights and why.

Our shows are posted now and I don't know which nights to book Mama Mia and the comedy show.

Also if you you have a room with an Aqua Theater view should you just watch those shows from your balcony? or do you recommend seeing them from the theater?

thanks!

I saw Mamma Mia while the ship was at sea. We got there like 40 mins before the show to secure a seat in the front row. I had a friend with the aqua theater view but we decided to seat at the theater instead of looking at the show from the top

We also booked Mama Mia on a sea day. But we ended up with an early show (we had late seating for dinner). So it worked out well. Also since we dress for Formal Night we avoid the long shows on that night. But the reason we like to book on sea days is so we don't have to rush back to the ship for any reason other than not missing the ship.
