Ft. Lauderdale airport to Miami Hotel Pre-cruise

We are flying into Ft. Lauderdale the day before our cruise. We have a hotel booked in Miami and plan on taking a cab from the hotel to the cruise port the day of our cruise departure. However, does anyone have any advice or recommendations on how to get from the airport in Ft. Lauderdale to our hotel pre-cruise??

Welcome to Cruise Critic. There is a board here called Florida Departures, located under North American Homeports. They address this question daily. A shuttle service will be the most economical. EM

This question come up almost daily on the Florida Departures Board so that is the place to post.
