leosmom08 Posted January 25, 2016 #1 Share Posted January 25, 2016 I attempted to make a Sabor lunch reservation for our group of seven on Freedom. There are no times before 5pm. Do they not serve lunch? Are reservations for lunch not taken? I've heard great things about the guacamole and margaritas and would love to try it during the day rather than dinner. Thanks for your help!
Clarea Posted January 25, 2016 #2 Share Posted January 25, 2016 Royal no longer allows pre-cruise reservations for lunch at specialty restaurants.
Rare BillOh Posted January 25, 2016 #3 Share Posted January 25, 2016 Royal no longer allows pre-cruise reservations for lunch at specialty restaurants. I assume that is new since last Spring, or is it that you just can't make reservations online prior? We made lunch reservations for Sabor when we boarded Freedom last Spring. But it wasn't crowded, you could have walked in.

You cannot make lunch reservations prior to the cruise, but you can still make lunch reservations onboard.

Thanks for your help! Lunch in a specialty is hit or miss( sometimes on sea days, sometimes on port days, sometimes not at all) and they do not accept reservations area do f time because of this. however when you board you can easily find out when , if at all, it will be held. jamesr3939 Posted January 25, 2016 #6 Share Posted January 25, 2016 We did Sabor for lunch and went a little later than normal lunch hour (2:00). We walked right in and there where maybe three tables with people. The food was very good and reasonable priced for what you get.

What I am wondering about was I heard Sabor had AlaCarte pricing, but on Freedom for lunch it was just a $15 cover ea for whatever we ordered. Either way, I will be eating at Sabor once on our upcoming Oasis cruise.

Clarea Posted January 25, 2016 #10 Share Posted January 25, 2016 Is lunch available at Specialty Restaurants every day or just sea days? Sea days and only selected specialty restaurants. Generally Giovanni's and Sabor have lunch, but I'd not seen lunch at Chops.
