Best "regular" (not cove) balcony level on Carnival Breeze?

Me and my family are about to book a Sept cruise on the Carnival Breeze, we originally wanted a cove balcony but we're traveling with many family members and there are no 3 or 4 people interior rooms left on deck 2 where the coves are for family and we want to be near each other so we're forced to go with a regular balcony, more money but we want to be near family and family wants to go cheap with interior rooms. So what level would be the best for a regular balcony? I was looking at deck 7 or 8 because they are only surrounded above and below other rooms and nothing like a dinning room or buffet area where we might have noise, but I am not sure if those are the best levels, suggestions? We've only done cove balconies on carnival so we're not sure about regular balconies, thanks!

We just got off the Breeze and we were on Deck 7 near the Aft. Location was fantastic and we had a great view as the promenade narrows near the back of the ship. Therefore, you have a great view from your balcony.

Also, since we were near the back of the boat, minimal foot traffic:cool:

My choice every time on a Dream class ship is deck 8, midships, near the elevator. It is not noisy and it is so convenient to everything.

The elevator near our cabin goes up to the entrance to the Lido, down to the Casino, down close to the front dining room and it's only half the walk to the rear dining room. We have always stayed on decks sandwiched between passenger decks. My husband used a walker, so we didn't use stairs. There wasn't a lot of motion to the ship there either.

One other positive for me on deck 8 is that I could sit on the balcony and see the sea, whereas on decks 6 and 7, unless I would be standing up, I'd see the lanai deck that goes all around the ship. I also prefer to be on port side, but have sailed on starboard a few times.

Have to agree with Decks 7 & 8 as far as location, and also agree with aft of ship near rear stairs. The lanai doesn't extend out as far in this location and you do have a better view of the water from your balcony. We really like being near the rear stairs so quick trip up to lido for food and drinks. Like stated above there is a lot less foot traffic at the back of the ship versus midship also. Good luck with your choice and hope you have a great cruise with family and friends!

Thanks everyone, unfortunately most of the aft is all booked up so we're going to have to go mid or front of the ship, I am calling shortly to see what I can find because from past experience I don't think as much availability shows up online that is actually available.

I was on deck 9 Aft (9447) and it was such a great location. There was no noise from the Lido deck and it was great to be only a floor away from Lido as well as on the same end as the MDR, Limelight Lounge, Piano Bar, etc.

Off the Breeze on Sunday, 1/24. We had balcony room 8442 and loved it! Not much foot traffic. Close to stairway. Never use elevators as we prefer to get the extra work out. Few flights up to Lido, few flights down to Promenade. You will love this ship! If you read any negatives, don't believe them. Food, service, décor, etc. Everything was wonderful!

My wife and I will be on the breeze in September 18 to 25 we are in balcony on deck 7 room 7339 if you on same cruise maybe we will run into each other our travel agent says that is best she always books us in middle near the elevator so we don't have to walk a long hallway to room she is great at arranging that stuff she says it in middle of decks and quiet from all the noise and is only a couple of deck above or below to where we want to go a lot less walking she said
