Rare Essiesmom Posted January 27, 2016 #2 Share Posted January 27, 2016 Welcome to Cruise Critic. There are several other places here to ask that question. First would be the Ports of Call board for British Isles, which is here: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=233 You also might try posting on the MSC board here, under Cruise Lines A-O; the Cunard board and P&O-UK board, since they both have a lot of sailings from Soton. Rare Keith1010 Posted January 27, 2016 #4 Share Posted January 27, 2016 Welcome to Cruise Critic. Another great place to get input is the British Isles board and this link will take you directly there. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=-1&f=233 Keith
SuiteTraveler Posted January 27, 2016 #5 Share Posted January 27, 2016 If you get on your Cruise Critic Rollcall, you may be able to set up a group transfer with a stop to see Stonehenge - very interesting to see and easy to do and cost effective. navybankerteacher Posted January 27, 2016 #7 Share Posted January 27, 2016 When you add the cost of getting from your hotel to a public transportation facility, and any cost of getting to the cruise terminal itself, to the fare - you might want to consider the comfort/convenience of your own private car - service -- particularly if you could team up with others from your roll call to share a van. For not too much more, you could make that part of your cruise experience a lot more pleasant.
