Embarkation lunch options Coral Princess

Our last Princess cruise was 2-3 years ago on Ruby. We are Booking the Coral Princess Panama Canal partial transit leaving from Ft. Lauderdale. What choices do we have for lunch on embarkation day? I know on Ruby we were able to partake a light lunch in the main dining room - which was wonderful. Due to mobility issues, it is difficult to fight the crowds in the buffet area. Any input would be appreciated.

If it has not changed since we last sailed, the MDR is open from 12:00pm - 1:00pm. For some, that can be difficult to board that early if you follow the Princess staggered boarding times, although most seem to board as soon as they can.

 

The Grill & Pizzeria both open at noon as well as the Horizion Court.

 

The International Cafe is open 24 hours.

The DR is usually open for embarkation lunch

 

12:00-1:30p

 

As stated the HC buffet or Hamburger/pizza counter deck 14 (pizza)/15 (burger grill) forward.

We always find the DR that's open for lunch on embarkation day. Makes for a quieter, less chaotic lunch.

They will try to steer you to the Horizon court:(

 

Be polite and persistant:)

 

 

Also do not worry about staggered boarding ,I have not seen them enforce it.
