Princess theatre shows

There are usually two performances of each show, one timed for the early diners and one for the late diners.

Often there are two shows per night and they are timed so you can get to both.

One show will run at 6-6:15pm for the late diners and again at 7:45-8pm.

The other show usually has sessions at 7:45-8pm and around 9:45pm.

If you are booked for late traditional dining you would go one show before dinner and one after. The shows aren't too long and the late one is usually finished by 10:30pm.

BTW if they have NZ singer Chris Powley on board make sure you go to his show. He has an amazing voice.

Usually two shows each night in the Princess Theatre and often two shows in the Vista Lounge. The two show are identical but they are not repeated during the cruise, although on occasions a production show might be.

The times can vary. Most often the early show is 7.45 (or 8pm) and the later one is probably 9.30 (but I am not sure of that time because we go to the early one). The Cruise Director sometimes alters the times. Occasionally there will be an earlier show (6.30 or so) advertised as a 'pre-dinner show' for second sitting guests.

Am just off the Dawn Princess south pacific cruise and can confirm (as per above comments) the show times were;

8 nights shows were on at 7.45/8pm & 9.45/10pm.

2 nights shows were on at 6.15 & 8:30pm

2 nights shows were on at 6.45 & 8.45pm.

The earlier 6.15/6.45 ones were more for the guest entertainers while the 7.45/8pm ones were the dawn princess singers/dancers.

Hope that helps.

I will say though that the cruise director was changing for the next cruise for an extended period so things may change again.

Happy cruising.
