One more question if you have time. What do they do for us.

Thanks for the help

The butler will bring daily snacks and coordinate with your steward. You can also order room service with them etc.

The concierge helped coordinate dinner reservations and coordinates your priory disembarkation during poets and at the end of your cruise.

We were in an aft suite on the Spirit in December. Great ship!

My husband has a serious sweet tooth and we both love iced tea. Our butler made sure that we always gad tea in the fridge and cookies on the table. Brought our breakfast a few times and we weren't able to get into Cagneys on our last night, so we ordered Cagneys through our butler. He just wanted an hours notice. We were also celebrating my husband's birthday that night so he brought a cake and sang happy birthday to him.

Day 4 – February 3rd – Tortola

After a quick night we arrived in Tortola along side the Escape. We were the only ships in port that day. Tororla is undergoing an expansion project and much of the work is not done. I did hear people saying that the work needs to be completed by February or March of 2016 --- seems like a lot work to complete. When it is completed it seems like it is going to be a very night port stop.

After getting off we walked around the port and downtown – watch the traffic – I know Caribbean drivers are crazy, but several times cars jumped up on the sidewalks to get by – LOL.

Our excursion was the “Tortola Party Bus Tour” which is an island tour and enjoying rum punches. Our driver was Larry and he was very friendly and informative. We started at the port and headed east? and up. Our first stop was an overlook of amazing vistas of Iguana Island, Virgin Goroda and several other islands I cant remember. Our next stop was a potty break at TD’s – which had drinks and snacks for purchase and amazing vista views. Our lunch stop was at Brewers Bay. AMAZING. A local family served lunch of BBQ chicken, salad and rice. Sounds simple but it was AMAZING … or maybe the rum punches were kicking in. We had about an hour to walk around the beach, put our feet in the sand or have a drink at Bamboo bar. The highlight of the excursion. Our last stop was Boomba Shack that serves a very strong and tasty rum punch and situated right on the beach. We had some light sprinkles but it was quick. Now it was time to head back to port that was now flat and provided ocean and island vistas. A tip – if you are in an open-air tour bus sit on the right side … you will have 8 out of the 10 best pictures opportunities.

Time to leave and head to dinner. Again headed to Gardens because at windows we were told it was a 30-45 minute wait. The hostess asked if we had reservations, which we didn’t and it seemed that several large parties were dinning. Windows always seemed busier then Gardens and had the longer waits. PS – it’s the same menus, just different décor. I personally enjoyed Gardens more subdued tones and quitter atmosphere. Again dinner was yummy and service quick and friendly.

The show tonight was our resident comedian Ralph Achiles. An older gentleman who was very good and content focusing on marriage and raising kids. After the show it was time for bed … the waves were rolling and I was feeling it.

Days 5/6 – February 4-5th – Sea Days

UMMM … the ship is rolling side to side and white caps surround us --- but it is sunny. Time for some meclizine.

The show on the last sea day is called “Elements” which is a take on a Vegas style dance, audience interaction, and magic. Its composed of earth, wind, and fire. It was a good show, and even the 9:30 show was pretty packed. I would definitely recommend this show.

As Suite guest you get priority luggage tags, which are the first bags to arrive in port. I highly recommend it.

Day 7 –February 6th – Debarkations

After a wild night we woke up at 6:00 am to start the final packing. I believe we were docked and roped up by 6:45 am. We went and had breakfast at Cagney’s around 7:30 am and we started our debarkation around 8:15 am.

As a suite guest we had priority debarkation with the concierge. When you are ready she escorts you through a separate door to the promenade deck which has a separate key area. After that you are on your own. By the time we got down to the luggage area they were not quite ready for priority bags, but we only waited about 5 minutes. After a quick trip through customs we were outside and waited around 20 minutes for our Ground Link car pick up.

All said and done I am VERY happy with our cruise. Now tasting the suite life I am not sure we can ever go back to a cabin. Have never stayed in Haven, maybe one day. The food in general was good. I enjoyed the main dining rooms selections, for both lunch and dinner. I preferred Garden’s for dinner as it was easier to get into, though towards the end of the trip we realized the concierge could make reservations in Windows – which made the process a lot easier. We stayed away from the buffet, nothing was amazing their and the crows were always intense. No issues with UBP – which we have on our next cruise.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your review. I have enjoyed reading. By any chance do you have a menu from Cagney's? And maybe a clearer one from LeBistro? If so it would be greatly appreciated. I am really looking forward to going on the Spirit. Your room looks amazing. All your pictures are fantastic. I can not wait. :D

Thank you again.

Thank you so much for posting these menus. Well I guess the Spirit does not have the "new" menus. :( They look like the same ones we had with alacarte prices added. :( I was so hoping for some changes that they have on the other ships. Oh well one never knows maybe by April there will be an update on the ships. I have missed the crab cakes, lobster bisque, surf & turf and a few other items. Guess I will still be missing them. lol

Again, I really appreciate you taking the time to post your experience and all these great pictures. Makes me wish I was getting on the ship today.

Thanks for your review (of the Suite life) and pictures. We missed you at the Meet & Greet - it was a little "tight" in Henry's Pub for our group size - not one of the best M&Gs I've been to, but the Officers were pleasant and informative. I do believe we saw you guys at the Shanghai Bar one evening before dinner - not sure............... Glad you enjoyed your trip, as we did too! Jane

Good review ....was on the Escape tied up next to you in Tortola...my wife and I were looking at the Spirit's pool deck before the sail-away and noticed , what seemed to be , a noticeable lack of children running around..... The Escape was like a floating Splash Academy ....even the Haven hot tub had 5 to 10 kids in at a time....how was the Spirit ??
