Epic - Balcony to Mini suite

We can get a free upgrade, as the price dropped quite a bit since our booking, but , is it really worth it?

As our current balcony, is on Deck 12, our preferred location, mini-suite on deck 10.

Deck 12 FWD is the kids Club IIRC so you might prefer not to have the through traffic to the kids club if you are FWD.

Mini suites on the Epic have a little more space near the bathroom and a considerable amount more storage. Some have a bathtub and others have a larger shower. We've done both the balcony and mini suite on Epic and would choose the mini suite again just for the extra storage.

How do we find out which mini has a tub, and how do you know if bed is near door or near balcony? :)

MA and MC have tubs, and bed by the balcony doors. MB and MD don't have tubs and have bed closer to the front door.

 

We have been in both MA and MD, and we prefer MB/MD.

Thank you for reply I have just checked ours is MC so bit disappointed I would have preferred other configuration, but didn't realise when I booked over a year ago there was a difference I though all set up same, eh will live with it, no big deal in life's plans!

DH really likes the minis over the balconies. I have to admit, the double sinks are really nice to give each of us our own space, and the larger showers are pretty great as well. Assuming it's free, I'd totally take a mini (any floor) over a balcony. To him, they're worth the upgrade charge as well.

Epic minis have a single sink, in-room.
