Hi, I posted a question in the carnival section and no help. We are taking 2 cruises in October , a 3 day Royal and a 5 Day Carnival. Both out of the same port. Question is , is there a shuttle that will take us from Royal on Monday to Carnivals port or do we use a taxi? Do we book this prior to our cruise or after we come off . Any help is very appreciated.

There are no shuttles between terminals. You would need to take a taxi. There will be plenty of taxis once you disembark.

All but one of the terminals in POM sit in a row, next to each other - unlike Everglades or Canaveral where the terminals are scattered about the port . . .

see bigger: http://www.miamidade.gov/portmiami/library/portmiami-map.pdf

if you watch the POM webcam for a few weeks you'll notice that usually NCL is down to the "right" or east side at CT B & C .... and Carnival is usually at D & E

note that the full length of the 'row' is about 1 mile and that in all probability your two terminals will be less that 1/2 mile apart, down the same road and sidewalk . . .

(p.s. the odd terminal on the south side, CT-J, is usually used by ships only making port calls)

if you try a taxi you better tip HEAVY cuz the driver is gonna LOVE you for a 1000 yard fare that puts him back at the end of the line . . . . You MIGHT be able to offer a nice tip to a stevedore (porter) to roll your bags down for you!!!!
