tusconcam Posted February 15, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 15, 2016 Hi there. Going on a cruise on the Oasis of the Seas with RCI late April and was wondering if anyone could chime in with their experience about where they set up the BBQ buffet at Labadee? Is there just one spot? What time does it run? I plan on going to Columbus Cove beach as I hear it is a nice beach. Is the buffet far from there? Do I need to take the tram between the two places? ( Is the tram free?) Any advice as to when to go to avoid the greatest lines? Do they honor the on-board soda beverage package here? if so, do I have to bring my souvenir cup? Do they offer any free non-alcoholic beverages? Sorry for the large amount of questions. I'm just looking for information and experiences. Thanks in advance. mrpayroll Posted February 20, 2016 #2 Share Posted February 20, 2016 If you are going to Columbus cove, you will have a lunch pavilion close by. ( we go to the far end and the bbq is right there.) The tram to get there is free. We took the ferry last time ( free ) They have water, punch and lemonade to drink at the bbq.

Rare Lionesss Posted February 20, 2016 #4 Share Posted February 20, 2016 To answer your question. As above posted by Columbus there is another one that seems to be more crowded at times and that is by the vendors building by Adrenaline beach. We like this one to grab a quick glass of water when playing volleyball. Or if we really get adventurous we go to the bar here and get a drink:D We have seen the lines get very long here so go early if you go here. Enjoy Labadee, we do. If in a suite you can enjoy the private upgraded buffet on Barefoot Beach. Love it! Safe travels.
hungan Posted March 27, 2016 #5 Share Posted March 27, 2016 We have been to cocacay in 2014 and I remembered I did pay for the beach but my DH said we didn't because it was RCI private beach, please help if my DH is right. Would Columbus cove be free for everyone to visit? Thanks in advance Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app

Poohb Posted April 2, 2016 #9 Share Posted April 2, 2016 (edited) We usually go to Columbus Cove. The last 2x we were there that buffet was CLOSED. Check your daily planner to make sure it's available. We were the only (smaller) ship in port. I guess they couldn't be bothered... Big disappointment cuz we didn't want to travel past the aggressive vendors just to get lunch. Edited April 2, 2016 by Poohb
