CSohio Posted February 16, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 16, 2016 We have stayed at Marriott Hollywood Beach in the past and really enjoyed the boardwalk and beach. We currently book the Hyatt Pier 66 the night prior to our cruise this weekend but am now contemplating changing the reservation to Marriott Hollywood Beach. We really like the Marriott but the Hyatt is closer to the port. The Hyatt does not have a lot to do/eat within walking distance which is why I am considering making a change. Anyone have any pros or cons for each hotel that could help me in my decison?
fishywood Posted February 16, 2016 #2 Share Posted February 16, 2016 From the Hyatt Pier 66 a 10-15 minute walk over the 17 St bridge will find a much greater variety of restaurants and shops than on the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk. But if that is too strenuous for you relative to walking on flat ground from the Marriott perhaps you should switch.

rdsxgrl28 Posted February 17, 2016 #5 Share Posted February 17, 2016 We loved Hyatt 66, but had a balcony room higher up. We got to watch the sail away of the Oasis with a glass of wine. This time doing Embassy Suites, just better price.
