Getaway cabin choice help

Would you choose deck 8,9, or 10? It looks like Deck 8 has some restaurants, etc... Would it be too noisy? Thanks.

Deck 8 has the really nice mini suites with the very large balconies. And on deck 8, rather than noise, I just considered it nice and close to the activities.

Agree with Roger! We got to see the BX cabin 8710 on our cabin crawl and the balcony was huge! We have an M6 mini suite with large balcony reserved for our upcoming cruise. The cabins are forward of the restaurants down an interior hallway, so noise shouldn't be a factor

I always stay stay either on Deck 10 or 11.

IMHO I really enjoy deck 10 or 11, I think they are the best located. Remember that all food, bars and entertainment are located on 6,7,8 and the pool and Garden Cafe are located on 15.

We stayed on Deck 11 and loved it. We were just a few floors away from the bars and restaurants on the Waterfront and a few decks away from the buffet and pool deck. Noise was never an issue with our balcony.

Another vote for deck 10. We found it easy to walk the stairs to restaurants and the theater etc if we didn't want to wait for an elevator, and it was really quiet.

This was our cabin on the Breakaway, aft. The balcony was huge. Same on the Getaway. Never heard a peep and what a view! :D

We just booked Deck 8, very excited to be near the waterfront. Easy access to the bars.

We've really enjoyed the mojito bar both cruises on the Getaway.

We just had three M6s (8730-8734) booked for our group on Getaway and it wasn't noisy at all and we loved being so close to everything important except for the buffet and MDRs that are by aft elevators.

First time NCL cruiser and was wondering if someone could enlighten me on GTY balcony. When will u know ur room? How often is there an upgrade? And it doesn't look like there are any bad rooms (obstructed views) on the getaway any ones I should know about
