Grandeur on embarkation day

can anyone confirm if you are allowed to leave your carry on luggage at Chops on embarkation day prior to your stateroom being ready? I thought I read that on one of the posts, but now Im wondering if I really did...or was it wishful thinking:p

Just got off a B2B several weeks ago and cruisers were leaving carry ons at Chops.

can anyone tell me how secure the drop off is....is it like a coat check where you have to turn in a ticket to get your bag back? or is it take a chance for convenience sake?

I asked Radio via the Book of Face and he said it was like a coat check. I would not leave cash or high valuables, but my change of clothes, wine etc will be there in April :)

If you are carrying on valuables...keep it with you. NEVER leave stuff of value anywhere but with you.

thank you...I feel better knowing its like a coat check...would never leave anything of value unattended...hubby just wouldnt understand ..I can hear him saying Luuuuucy we have a problem:D:eek:

I have only heard/read about it on Grandeur.

 

I do not see how it could be implemented fleet-wide. (Can you imagine the cluster on Oasis?!)

Ok, thanks....it is a nice option to have if we ever sail on Grandeur. This is the first I'd heard about it.
