Cove Balcony

Do the cove's typically sell out quickly? Anyone ever get price drops on a cove?

We have found that by booking our cruise as soon as possible, using Early Saver, we get the cabin we want, and usually at the lowest price. It's hard to say whether a certain category (except for Aft cabins) sells out quickly. It depends on the itinerary and time of year. Price drops may occur if a certain category (in this case, cove balconies) isn't selling well, but I don't think Carnival has much trouble in filling them up. They're very popular. When choosing your cabin, study the deck plans closely. Try to avoid those directly below the galley, to avoid the noise from above. The cove balcony cabin we had on the Breeze was just below the Excursions desk (port side), and had no noise issues from above.

I've booked coves on the Breeze and Magic and gotten price drops on each one. I've found that because there are so many balconies on those ships, the price does tend to drop to fill cabins. We always book one cabin with 2 people and one with 3 people and the 3 person cabin always drops much more than the 2 person cabin. That's just my experience though. ...others may be different.
