Wine in Restaurants

We are going on RC in two weeks. We are not new to cruising but very new to RC. I know that we can bring on 2 bottles of wine per cabin, and also can bring a wine opener. Can we bring these bottles to dinner with our own opener and not get charged a corkage fee or are we not allowed to bring them to the restaurants? Either way, these bottles will be drunk :)

Correct, you can bring the bottles to any restaurant (or anywhere else on the ship) and pay no corkage fees. You don't even have to open it, the wait staff will open it for you.
