Carnival Coffee Bar

I was going to ask John why Carnival does not have regular brewed coffee at there coffee bar.

I would pay for the convenience

My drink of choice is a red eye and yes i can still have one, I just have to stop twice on 2 different decks to do it.

It is a coffee bar correct?

What your opinion? If they had a high quality ground coffee at the coffee would buy a cup.

On the Sunshine a few weeks ago they had a Keurig machine at the coffee bar (called JavaBlue Cafe on that ship). I just had to laugh at that. I hadn't seen that before, so not sure if other ships do that or not. They did have a few selections of K-cups, haha!

Yeah I'm on freedom and don't like the coffee at all. Even the 4 dollar coffee is the same crappy stuff they serve everywhere else with some added foam.

Princess also has a specialty coffee bar in its atrium. When you buy the coffee card you can get freshly brewed coffee at no charge.

 

And next to it is the international cafe with the most awesome donuts.

 

Great way to start the day while waiting for DW to get up.:)

 

Just wish that the two brands would talk to each other more and copy the better things they both do

Princess coffee international cafe blows away carnival...no contest.

Last carnival cruise I was on had decent room service coffee. I'm easy to please though. Interested to try more coffees now that cheers expanded

This past January we sailed the Glory and the Coffee Bar had pretty good coffee. Same on the Liberty and Sunshine.

You can order an americano. It was really good: espresso and water, just like a good cup of regular coffee.

I agree but a red eye is regular coffee plus a shot of espresso.

We do it now but have to make 2 stops coffee bar and lido.

It would be nice with one stop shopping

 

For some reason the coffee from room service seems to be better,

last cruise we ordered a pot from room service and carried it up to the coffee bar

and made our own red eyes right there on promenade :)
