We saw Mamma Mia three times (two times on standby) on the Quantum and it was amazing. Perfect show for a cruise. Met the lead singer and actors later on the ship and had a great time asking questions and getting pictures. Can't wait for our Allure cruise in April so that we can see it again!

LOL I had Abba songs going threw my head all day long. Especially when I was doing the zip line. I was singing SOS to myself

Great review and pictures (and have seen some of your periscope videos). Formal night looks nice. Great picture of you.

How did you find Mamma Mia? Did you have to arrive early for good seats?

Showed up at 8:45. Opened doors at 9 had about 40 people in front of me. Got great seats about 20 rows back dead center!! It's was great. Lead singer she is best singer I've heard on a ship

Very thoughtful to do this. I myself couldn't take the time to do it. Will be on the Allure soon,(not soon enough) and I feel like I'm on her seeing all these pics this week.

Thanks again so much and enjoy her!!!

How much is one ride and a ride all you can package for the roller coaster at Labadee?

Thank you !

Think it $20 for one ride think it's $30 for all day but don't hold me to that. I did it before the cruise. I never saw a place to do the all day online

Samba Grill

Very nice atmosphere! If your not real hungry skip the appetizer bar. My mom was full from it. The filet and lamb chops were exsilent!! The star of the meal was the passion fruit moose !!! No pictures forgot me phone.

I'm going to try to do a live report from my cruise March 6th on the Allure. Going to try to post pictures and even try to do some Periscopes.

A little info on me. I live in Va. This is my 7th cruise 4th on RCI. First time on Allure. Looking forward to the ship. This cruise is about the ship been to all the ports before. Well not Falmouth but Jamaica. I'm cruising with my 75 year old mother. She is getting up there in age so figured we better do this ship now while she is still mobile enough to get around a ship this big.

The plans for the ports are???? Labadee going to do the Zip Line and roller coaster hope to GoPro video those and hang at the beach. Mom will chill on the beach. Jamaica go to high tea at a plantation house and hang by the pool at Margarita Ville. Cozumel no plans other than go down to shop. May end up a beach somewhere.

Cabin you ask??? My home for the week will be 14715 a boardwalk balcony. Kind of had a brain cramp when I booked this cabin I like to be toward the top of the ship. Quicker to the pool deck. I didn't take into account the bridge across the back of the ship. I hope this does not hurt my view too bad of well I think I'll survive..

Getting to Ft Lauderdale!!! Since this cruise cost a little more than my past cruises. I'm Driving flights out of Roanoke Va cost a fortune!!! Gas is cheap but my lord 14 hours driving is a nightmare. So I'm going to leave Friday evening after work and drive 5 or 6 hours hopefully getting almost to Ga. Get up early Saturday and make my way to Ft. Pierce where I will spend the night before the cruise. Why not Ft. Lauderdale?? Why pay almost $200 for a place to lay your head for 1 night that I will barely sleep cause I'm jacked up from thinking about cruising on the big girl for a week.

My Periscope name is @narzhokie If you wish to follow along!!!! I'll be glad to answer any questions you have while I'm on the ship. I hope I can pull this review off never have tried to do a live review

Thanks for doing it.

Yes!!! Hashbrowns all day!!!

Pretty uneventful drive down to Walterboro SC. Other than work calling 3 hours down the road about our cash register system. Was afraid it had crashed if that happened that would of been the end of this review!! But thankfully I was able to fix the issue over the phone at 75mph. Got to the best western at 11:15 pm checked in. Went across the street to eat dinner!!! Well make that a Midnight Snack. I love me some Waffle House. The all star was calling my name!!!!32867fc1baba50fb744bd2070dc6738a.jpgbdc921ed9072b9c3cc9027095d07b7d9.jpg

Time to get some sleep. 5 hour drive to Ft. Pierce

Day 4 Jamaica

We got to Falmouth early around 9. Went up did breakfast in the windjammer what a zoo. My advice is to avoid it for breakfast. There are are plenty of places to eat. Johnny rockets is favorite. Quick service and the food is hot.

Shore excursion We did the Good Hope House for High Tea. Pretty good tour. They give you a tour of the old plantation house. They filmed How Stella got her Groove back there. After that the serve you tea or coffee. Cucumber sandwiches jerk chicken and desserts. It's a 20 min ride on rough road. The guides were very good they point stuff out to you along the way. Like where unsaine Bolt went high school and the history of Falmouth and different plants and stuff. Loading to go on the tour was a bit unorganized but they figured it out.

The weather was 82 but the wind must of been 40mph between the ships. It made it horrible to try to shop in port and to get back on the ship. To get in the cruise building you had to walk into the wind had to stand behind mom and kind of push her forward cause she was going backwards.

I'll finish Jamaica tonight after dinner. Formal night

Thanks for sharing your adventure. I was lucky to get my mom on a couple cruises before she passed away. Those are memories that will be cherished forever.

Have a fabulous time with your mom!!!

And have a great time on Allure. She is one of our favorites.

I will be on the Allure May 8 cabin 14721. I was wondering how is the view from your room? Do you have a good view of the Aqua Theater? any pics?

Yes you will be able to watch the show and see the ocean from that cabin. I will post pics from the balcony in the next few days

Day 4 part 2

When we got back to port we did a little bit of shopping. The wind was so bad that it was pushing the ship up against the port casing rouge wave to appear at the gang way saw 3 people get hit by waves getting on the ship. Our cabin Stewart Joel said he had never seen it happen before.

Oops hit send instead of return.

Dinner was in the windjammer missed our 6:30 reservation didn't want to stand in line. The windjammer was pretty good lots of choices.

The headliner was a Elton John impersonator/ comedian. He was very good. Keep the crowd into. It was fun. The show was not over till midnight so we returned to the cabin for some sleep
