Stockholder OBC request timing?

I only get statements online every 90 days as well. I find that I can bring up my position statement and my name, while not "on the statement" is clearly displayed in the upper left corner of my screen. (Scottrade). I just take a "snip" of the page and print that. It has worked well for me.

As for checking if the OBC has been applied, there is a specific phone number you can call and they will check for you. When I've called to check they have located my request and then immediately applied it and sent email confirmation.

Fax: 661 753 0180 (For Sending Shareholder OBC Info)

Tel: 800 872 6779 ext. 30317 (For Confirming OBC Fax Has Been Received)

Thrak, thanks so much for posting the number to call to confirm the OBC! I faxed mine in 2 days ago but it hadn't shown up for our June 29th cruise. They hadn't received it so I re-faxed and within minutes there it was posted on my account.

No they aren't. I faxed in my request on February 5th along with my sister's request. My sister's OBC was applied but mine wasn't. Impossible as they both were sent in the same fax. I made a copy along with a copy of the fax confirmation and mailed it in. It's finally applied almost a month later. IMHO, poor service. :( I'm not a happy camper.

I have had the same problem with faxing in 2 requests for b2b cruises. They will credit one and not the other.

Now I fax the first cruise info in and wait a week and fax the other.

I have not had any delay in being credited the Shareholder's OBC to my account. I fax it in the morning and by late evening I have seen it on my cruise personalizer. In Sept, I will be doing a B2B and this time I plan on sending my request for the first cruise 1 month prior to embarkation date, waiting for 10 days and sending my request for my second cruise. Hope this works smoothly. Will keep you posted.

can you still email the request? I did so in 2013. very easy! email proof of ownership to guestadmin@carnival.com along with

Ship, Sail Date, and Booking number.

No & here's the procedure included with the application form (not required to use the form):

Before I got the 2 responses, I thought, why not try it?

Sure enough, 24 hours after emailing guestadmin, I received a reply that they had applied the credit. I checked my cruise docs, and it's there!
