I just booked the Sapphire for 3/11 for my wife and 5 kids. We booked two balcony cabins, but we are contemplating upgrading to two mini suites - the upgrade is only about a total of $900.00 more.

Yep! I can't wait. Just over 3 weeks left to go. I don't recall, but have you stopped by the Roll Call for the ship yet?

Kayred, in one of those sites, it shows a game room on the Sapphire called Voyage of Discovery. Is that still there, I was under the impression that there was no game room on this ship. My kids would be very happy if there was. Also is there still a basketball court on the Sapphire or did it get removed?

I am not sure if the game room is still there or not. It is the only site I have seen it. I have my first cruise coming up in Jan. You may want to post the question to one of the groups about ready to go on their cruise and they could keep an eye out for you...

I don't remember a game room either but then we were on the Sapphire a little over a year ago (was it that long since I've been on a ship???:( :( ). the fun zone had video games but that was for the kids.
