Question about OBC

I have some on board credit available on my upcoming Star cruise. Can I use that in the casino or do I need to bring cash? I can't remember. Thanks!

I would bring cash. I believe you can use refundable OBC but they charge you 3% to get it in cash. Do you really want to give away 3%?

I have been told more than once that non-refundable OBC cannot be used in the casino or for the DSC.

Sounds confusing to me. I have OBC from the travel agent and the shareholder benefit from NCL.
