 Could someone enlighten me to the benefits of both of these? This will be our 4th cruise so do not have a high rating for freebies. I am willing to pay the addtional $'s for the fttf, but just curious how the two programs compare?

Sailing in 2-2018 on the Glory, its gonna be a lonnnnnng, frequent questions asked wait, so thank early on for all your help fellow cruisers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D

At 4 cruises with carnival you will be "gold" level. Means you get a bottle of water, a free drink last day, and a pin. That's pretty much it.

FTTF is an excursion you pay for, that basically gives you (some) same benefits as platinum (75 days) or higher.

Priority boarding (behind weddings, diamond, platinum guests)

VIP line at guest services

Room ready when you board

Luggage priority to room

Priority tendering at tender ports

And a few other little things, but those listed at the main draw to buying it.

Hobster~ We havent booked yet, I am just a compulsive planner, lol!!! Are there limited fttf's avail. on each cruise?

Although it might vary somewhat, I believe that FTTF's are limited to 30, but more may be added later, depending on the number of Platinum and Diamond cruisers there are on a specific cruise.

That's assuming all 4 cruises were/are (since this is the 4th cruise) 7 nights in length. If any of them were a 3 nighter, then the OP would only be "Red" so no free drink, bottle of water, or pin. ;)

FWIW ... you do get the bottle of water at red. That's it :(
