sail7seas Posted March 13, 2016 #27 Share Posted March 13, 2016 I was going to suggest 'Scottish Eggs Benedict', but perhaps that is not it.
cruz chic Posted March 13, 2016 #28 Share Posted March 13, 2016 (edited) HAL calls Eggs Benedict with Smoked Salmon "Eggs Royale". Yes, that's the name. As much as I like smoked salmon I'm not fond if it that way. Edited March 13, 2016 by cruz chic
Rare david,Mississauga Posted March 13, 2016 #29 Share Posted March 13, 2016 HAL calls Eggs Benedict with Smoked Salmon "Eggs Royale". On the Noordam last May we had every breakfast in the Pinnacle. I can't be sure what it was called on the menu, but the waiter (we had the same waiter almost every day) always called it "Eggs Neptune" when he delivered it. I had that every second day. Maybe he called it that because you were in a Neptune suite :D;).

DarkCrystal Posted March 13, 2016 #32 Share Posted March 13, 2016 I loved the smoked salmon on HA, it was so buttery. Just thinking about it is making my mouth water.
SilvertoGold Posted March 13, 2016 #33 Share Posted March 13, 2016 Yes, that's the name. As much as I like smoked salmon I'm not fond if it that way. Neither am I. I used to go with the smoked salmon and bagel, until one ship started burning every bagel I ever ordered! I like the grilled salmon much better anyways! The last time we saw gravlax served on a ship, it was as an appetizer. Quite good I might add. Edited March 13, 2016 by Typhoon1
sail7seas Posted March 13, 2016 #49 Share Posted March 13, 2016 (edited) Yes, gravlax is often served as an appetizer. Smoked salmon has many uses but is most commonly known with bagels and cream cheese. :) Certainly, there are many other ways it is incorporated into menus/dishes. Medium to med rare please. Do you want me to discuss beef tataki, and how I sometimes make it as a special treat? Probably not ;) Hmmm maybe I should ask Walt if I can change my screen name :)
