StephRefreshmentsNarcotic Posted March 23, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 23, 2016 I just switched to a TA and was able to upgrade my GTY Balcony to a BB angled balcony for only $140 total for 4 people! If I had done it through NCL, it would have been $320! And I got $50 additional OBC! Woot! Posted here to tell someone because my husband is not properly enthusiastic LOL Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app

Rare GeezerCouple Posted March 23, 2016 #8 Share Posted March 23, 2016 That sounds like an awesome deal! Congrats to you! The Flavia! My first two little cruises were on that ship, in the mid '70's, also in an inside. Thinking back, those were *very* spartan accommodations, compared to the luxury of cruise ships now. But I remember eating a lot of lobster. And desserts. But despite that, and with fond memories of a beautiful beach on Paradise Island, and the most *clear* water I had ever seen in my life... I never forgot those two cruises. (Turned out one of the children got horribly motion sick, so that was it for some years.) DH thought he wouldn't like cruising, so later, I cruised a bit without him over the past two decades. I finally got him on a cruise a couple of years ago, and now there's no looking back :) We've got a loooong list to check off... To OP: ENJOY! WE are all excited for you, and hopefully your husband will be more enthused once onboard!
