MrsPawel25 Posted March 24, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 24, 2016 I’m normally a rum and diet coke girl, so excuse my ignorance. I have a fairly stupid question about wine. I’m not a big wine drinker but I LOVE sangria. Is that considered a wine? Can I bring that aboard as my wine, as long as its not over a 750ml bottle? hftmrock Posted March 24, 2016 #2 Share Posted March 24, 2016 I would think it would be fine if its a factory sealed bottle 750ml or less you might have some difficulty depending who is examining it but it should be ok
Rare Keith1010 Posted March 24, 2016 #3 Share Posted March 24, 2016 Sangria is most definitely considered a wine. Keith
Micahs Grandad Posted March 24, 2016 #4 Share Posted March 24, 2016 Your ok with that. We had been known to make our own. Bring back from fruits from lido and add to pitcher full of wine and voila.:)
cherbear4000 Posted March 24, 2016 #5 Share Posted March 24, 2016 You are not going to be able to bring on homemade Sangria, but you should be able to bring on a sealed 750 mL bottle.
Florings Posted March 24, 2016 #6 Share Posted March 24, 2016 Pre-bottled and sealed Sangria is considered wine. Take it and enjoy! Yes...get some oranges from Lido buffet and slice them to float in your sangria. Yummy!
John Reid Posted March 24, 2016 #7 Share Posted March 24, 2016 It's what we always bring.
Yvonne Posted March 24, 2016 #8 Share Posted March 24, 2016 In all our cruises I have never brought alcohol onto a ship, but... I'm considering it for our Dream cruise, as I recently discovered Sangria and love, love, love it!! My only problem is my favorite comes in a 1.5 liter bottle so I don't think I can bring that size on board. :( I think I've read that each passenger can bring on a 750mL bottle, right? So I can bring one in my carryon and my husband can bring one on in his? Or do they have to be in the luggage we check with the porter at the port? alabamaprincess Posted March 24, 2016 #9 Share Posted March 24, 2016 It should be in your carryon luggage not checked in luggage.

If placed with checked luggage, it will be confiscated.
