Costa Cruising

Help! I'm a bit worried! I have booked a 7 day cruise on the Costa Luminosa and have read many negative comments, however, many of them are old ones. I have read that there is no drinking water available at dinner...I have called costa and they have assured me that they will give me free mineral water....Can anyone enlighten me? Thank you!:confused::confused:

I think it is time for you to seek out the Costa forum here at CC, under Cruise Lines A-O. And perhaps see if there is a ROLL CALL for your sailing. EM

Costa serves drinking water at meals so no worries.

I think you'll have plenty of water on board especially if the captain tries again to impress someone and sails too close to shore. Be sure to learn to swim.

I checked and the Costa Liminosa is not listed....I have just read so many negative things.....I couldn't believe when people were writing that they refused to give them tap water....this is my first time on an Italian ship...Thanks for your suggestion..Deb

Not exactly. It sounds like the OP has booked Costa USA, so the waterusa package would be included, but not for Costa UK or Costa France.

Any travel agent booking Costa should know this. What did the agent say that made you choose Costa? If you're just finding this out from reviews, I'd be suspicious the agent may have misled you. Most of the negative reviews are from people who a competent and reputable agent would have said "this is not the right cruise for you". Best consider cancelling your cruise until you find an agent who can give you correct information.
