New UBP promotion to include shore drinks!

The promotion which will be released later today, will offer UBP holders up to 12 drink coupons at each port that can be used for free drinks at a variety of bars and restaurants throughout the Caribbean. The establishments will be hanging a NCL/UBP sign out front.

Yeah, eCoupons only - shown them the code on your smartphone, or, printed paper coupons obtained onboard, for a nominal fee and for one's convenience.

 

Non-transferable (no sharing among friends & family) and proof of identity & age as per local laws in port required, I suspect.

 

Now, the big question - how do they allocate / pool /share the tipping for those establishment, or, would a 18% cash surcharge be collected on the spot.

I think it will be this. If a coupon works on shore, they want to get drinks from their establishment of choice, not a predesignated one.
