MSC Cruises Confirms Deal for Another Four New Ships

Great news!

 

These will be the second biggest ships in the world, next to RCI's 'Oasis' class.

 

I can't wait to see some renderings!

 

There is some net speculation that the design will be based on an STX concept which was created some years back:

(The concept also looks a bit like MSC's 'Seaside' design to me).

Agree!...

 

Let me to just add a sidenote: A relatively quick google search revealed that the prototype beeing promoted everywhere else as beeing the MSC World Class of shipps will not likely be the effectively one... Because it seems that it has been sold to Meyer Werft with the Turku Shipyard...
