Any good ship wifi?

Is the wifi decent on any of the ships in Europe? I am trying to decide between Royal Princess, Celebrity Reflection and RCI Vision. This won't be the ultimate deciding factor but it may help 😆

That said. It is easy to download the Subject Line of a email, but the remainder can be more problematical. I have been known to wander the public areas of a ship looking for improved signal. That can help. Also, wifi is better in the early morning, when there are fewer users.

This may be a silly question .... but someone just posted they were off the Celbrity Reflection and the wifi was decent. Would being in Europe affect that or is it the ship itself?

It won't be affected by being in Europe as it's the ship's satellite which provides the WiFi. The very best wifi is on Allure/Oasis/Harmony of the Seas. We were on Reflection last year and it was fine for browsing/emails/whatsapp/messenger but not for using Skype for instance or streaming movies

 

Vision is an older ship so the wifi probably won't be as good, can't say about Princess

We have never had good wifi on a cruise ship. We do not even bother with it now unless it is free as part of our frequent cruiser package. We feel that the price is too high and the service terrible. Easier for us to go to a bar or coffee shop on land use the wifi there.

The Reflection recently had an upgrade to its wifi and current reports are that it is good. You might need to post on the boards for each of the cruise lines you're considering and ask about the specific ship there.
