We just booked our first premier casino cruise. Is there any where on your documents this is shown. We are already platinum so we don't need early boarding perk. How do you get casino cash and. All the other perks associated with this offer?

I have never had it shown up on my documents. Once you board and the casino opens, you take your sail and sign card to the casino cashier and they look up your name and give you cash. You will get goodies and gifts in your room. Cookies, chocolate plate, wine, Premier gift, in Feb the gift was insulated mugs and beach towels.

In your cabin the first day will be your DOU card for the free drinks in the casino, also a list with all the drawings/raffle times and dates plus we had 2 tumblers waiting and a invite to the premier cocktail party.....This is on the first day at approx 5pm and will be in one of the lounges.....Youll be introduced to the casino hosts and waiters are walking around with all sorts of great hot and cold appetizers.....They also have pre made drinks etc But you can order any type of drink you'd like for free.....At the end they draw one name for the start of the cash drawings

Throughout the week we also received a bottle of champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, cookies from Cherry on Top, 2 large beach towels and the 2nd to the last day the casino host comped us the steakhouse

You'll have lots of fun and Good Luck......Our next one is in Oct on the Vista

Three of my past 4 cruises have been Premier (Freedom, Conquest & Sunshine). I write reviews for all my cruises. You can click on my name, then the stats tab and find threads started by me.

The casino gift varies. I got a set of journals/date books, then the beach towel, then a large journal last time. I gave the journals away (don't need/use them and too heavy to haul home just to give away).

I always receive the snail mail offer, usually well after I've booked. I take that with me just to show the casino cash. My first one (Freedom), there was a couple that was having trouble getting theirs. They weren't on the list at the cage and hadn't brought any documentation.

Just read somewhere that our cruise is now a premier casino cruise.

Would this have any affect on the non-gambling cruisers except for perhaps the casino being crowded and more smoke?

Thanks

I've been on 2 Premier cruises & the only impact will be a very crowded casino. I loved the drawings and gifts, but I didn't like the crowds. Getting a drink was nearly impossible because almost everyone in the casino had the DOU card. Finding a slot machine open was also a challenge.

If you're not a gambler, you shouldn't be impacted except when you have to walk through the casino.

The casino will be much more crowded, but if anything, that will free up some space on the rest of the ship compared to a non-premier sailing. You will be fine, especially if you avoid the casino.
