Cabin choice advice for an RCI newbie

Recommended Posts

Hi - been on P&O a couple of times but looking at a 7 night trip on Navigator of the Seas from Southampton. Was interested to see cost of virtual balcony cabins but the RCI website didn't give me the option of booking a 'J' grade cabin - does that mean they are all sold out? We were looking at May 2107 so seems unlikely they are all sold already. If we can't get a VB we were thinking of an OV right at the front of the ship on deck 7 (grade 'I') which overlooks the Helipad. Anyone had any experience of these cabins? Anything we should be aware of?

Thanks

I was looking online, and saw the VB available. I've never been in one since the did the remodel, but I've been in a Promenade cabin on Navigator several years back and really liked it, I imagine the VBs are nice too. Navigator is a great ship, you'll love her!

I have been inside a VB just to look around. You lose the two seat love seat and get only one small club chair. And that chair is sort of in front of the "balcony". I wouldn't book one. I would much prefer an oceanview.
