bertrande Posted April 21, 2016 #1 Share Posted April 21, 2016 We cruise on the Harmony in June with our then 7-month old who's on full breastmilk taken from a bottle. When we go on shore excursions, I like to carry 1-2 bottles of milk to standby in case our schedule doesn't allow for me to express on time. I emailed RCCL's special needs department and was told they wouldn't be able to help me freeze my cooler bag and ice packs. When we were on the Liberty in 2013, it wasn't a problem and I am surprised by (and panicking at) the policy change. Does anyone have any suggestions or alternative solutions to this? Should I email again in hope of a favourable response? Thanks!
sross6019 Posted April 21, 2016 #2 Share Posted April 21, 2016 Ask for frig for medicine. The last one we had was more of a freezer than a refigerator.
pshaze Posted April 21, 2016 #3 Share Posted April 21, 2016 You could also get one of those Yeti Rambler Bottles and place the milk pouch inside then fill with ice. Those things work awesome. http://yeticoolers.com/drinkware/rambler-series/
Rare DragonOfTheSeas Posted April 21, 2016 #4 Share Posted April 21, 2016 Cruise critic has a family cruising message board. You may be able to find someone on that board who has experience with this and can offer a suggestion. Here is the link. good luck. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=
