Question on upgrading

I am considering upgrading our category to the category X guarantee on the

Anthem of the Seas. Can anyone tell me about their experience with this type of category? Is it sometimes not such a good thing or can it be obstructed?

I might be wrong, but I thought there was another category on Anthem which was called "Deluxe Obstructed View Balcony Guarantee"

 

If you are booking the "X" with that narrative I thought you'd be given a D8 or above

 

But don't quote me on that!

It all depends on your tolerance for uncertainty vs. cost savings. X GTY assignments can be any D cat and just about any location. If the upgrade cost is small enough, go for it.
