gottagoacruzn Posted May 2, 2016 #1 Share Posted May 2, 2016 Hi guys, will be on the Nieuw Amsterdam in June. One of the tours in Ketchikan is the rain forest sanctuary walking tour. Was wonderin, if anybody here has taken the tour, and is it worth it, an what do you see, besides the trees grow? Also have been thinkin of takin the duck tour, then take the free walkin tour, I really can afford free!! Also in Juneau, there's the grand tour of Juneau, the glacier, hatchery & glacier gardens, any suggestions? Thanks for the info Virginia
wolfie11 Posted May 2, 2016 #2 Share Posted May 2, 2016 I've done this a couple of times. I like the one with the crab feast at the end! The walk is very nice and the guide does a good job of explaining things. You go thru the bird sanctuary with owls and Eagles, the sawmill, etc as well. I have seen bears there whenever I've gone as it is close to the hatchery.
