Nezmo Posted May 2, 2016 #2 Share Posted May 2, 2016 (edited) Hello Everyone, For people who have cruised in a suite did you find it worth it to have the all inclusive beverage package? Thank you for your opinions. For us, yes. I don't think being in a suite really makes much difference. I realize you get the mini bar and breakfast drinks in Sabatini's and the discounted drinks in the daily party thing but we still benefited given it covers everywhere else plus waters, coffees, etc. Potential for lots of differing opinions here as whether it's 'worth it' very much much depends on the person. Thrak Posted May 2, 2016 #3 Share Posted May 2, 2016 (edited) I can't see that being in a suite would make any difference at all unless the mini bar setup suits your needs for the entire cruise. I don't buy the AIBP (nor do I cruise in a suite) but I want more variety than is offered in the mini bar setup. sassycruiser Posted May 2, 2016 Author #4 Share Posted May 2, 2016 Thank you - this is our first time in a suite. Our bar bill/coffee bill, was about $700 on our most recent NCL cruise in January. So we would be about the same. Figured someone would have some sort of opinion/experience.
OfficerKrupke Posted May 2, 2016 #5 Share Posted May 2, 2016 Our bar bill on a 7-day cruise tends to be in the 4-digit range, so the drink package was a no brainer for me.
R&S Posted May 2, 2016 #6 Share Posted May 2, 2016 For us it was worth it. We like to spend a lot of time at Crooners, Skywalkers, and the Casino. The convenience of the all-inclusive was perfect for us. We already had budgeted for the amount and did not have any worries about what the bar tab would be. Plus the bonus of included coffees, shakes, and water was nice too. We ordered bottled water at dinner instead of the normal tap water. Why not! It was included. The only downfall is now my wife wants a suite for every cruise. (Oh ...if I must!) Enjoy your cruise,

easyboy Posted May 3, 2016 #8 Share Posted May 3, 2016 Hello Everyone, For people who have cruised in a suite did you find it worth it to have the all inclusive beverage package? Thank you for your opinions. Yes it is. Others sometimes forget that the AIBP is not only for alcoholic drinks. Enjoys the perks not only on a suite, but at the bar as well. rockdoctor Posted May 3, 2016 #10 Share Posted May 3, 2016 Depends on your beverage preference. If you are a wine drinker, the AIBP doesn't work. You still pay 60 percent of the bottle cost.
Luvmyrotti Posted May 3, 2016 #11 Share Posted May 3, 2016 We typically sail in suites and still buy the AIBP. Though we still get the suite mini bar and the Sabatini's breakfast, we like the ease of the AIBP and find it worth it (plus we really like cocktails)!:p

All wine by the glass up to and including $10 is included in the AIBP. But yes, if you choose to buy bottles then any bottle $100 and under is 40% off. But there's plenty of choice by the glass. emmak8 Posted May 3, 2016 #13 Share Posted May 3, 2016 It depends on your drinking habits. I don't care for alcohol so it would be a waste for me.
